PS3's September Release?

I will also add this to the tech news section of the forums, but just wanted to touch base here. Gizmodo reports on its site today (2/21/06) that the slated released date for the PS3 is September 21, 2006 for the US. I would hope this was the case because I'm itching to jump into the realm of next gen systems. I'm almost ready to give in and purchase a XBOX 360 if this delay continues any further, but hopefully my willpower will stay strong.
